Nigeria’s main opposition party, the
People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has exposed an alleged plot to impose a
state of emergency on Rivers State by President Muhammadu Buhari and the
All Progressives Congress (APC).
The PDP exposed that the plot to remove
Governor Nyesom Wike from office by the APC is thickening as Buhari is
holding a secret meeting with Senate Majority leader, Ali Ndume, twenty
other APC Senators, Femi Gbajabiamila, House Leader of the House of
Representatives and 60 other reps.
According to the tweets shared by the
PDP on Twitter, the President is holding a meeting on the night of
Sunday, March 20, 2016 and the agenda of the nocturnal meeting is to
perfect the plot to incite violence in oil-rich Rivers State with the
view of unseating the gov, Nyesome Wike.
