Leopold Reppond, a four-month-old baby
from Seattle hasn't seen clearly his entire young life. He suffers from
something called oculocutaneous albinism that renders him legally and
effectively blind.
All he's ever known of his parents' appearance, he's learned by touching them.
For instance, he recognizes his dad by his scratchy beard.
But recently a company called Miraflex was able to create special glasses for Leopold that gave him the gift of vision. Just a moment after he first tried on the glasses, he started smiling at his mom – a concrete sign that he was instantly enjoying his new ability
