Martial groans at random drug test after firing Manchester United to the FA Cup final

Instead of heading to the changing rooms to celebrate at Wembley, the striker was taken to one side by a doping control officers for a random drug test

Anthony Martial may have fired Manchester United to the FA Cup final, but the striker's celebrations were quickly halted in the tunnel at Wembley. Doping control officers are present at the majority of high-profile games in English football and Saturday's FA Cup semi-final was no exception.

Martial was one of the unfortunate players taken to one side after United's latest victory, meaning he could not celebrate with his team-mates until he'd given a blood and urine sample. Over 2200 tests were conducted at random last season, while it was announced on Saturday that Mamadou Sakho is currently under investigation by Uefa after failing a drugs test.
