30-year-old Russia native Dashik Gubanova has hair that reaches her kneecaps, and according to her Instagram page she has no plans to cut it until it reaches her feet. In one photo she says that she'll need to wear "up heels" in 3-4 years to keep it off the floor. After that she plans on getting it cut and donating it for wigs.
"Good morning," she wrote on Instagram 15 weeks ago. "This post is for those who say that I should donate my hair for wigs ... In 14 years, I will. And donate hair for wigs. Today, I grow hair. My goal is to grow them to toe. (Sorry for my English)."
Dashik's Instagram page has blown up to over 123,000 followers since her story broke on Buzzfeed earlier this week. In fact, her story made it to the nightly news in Turkey on Thursday.
"Just received a lot of messages from Turkey [where] I was shown on the news," she wrote in her native tongue on Instagram with a picture of the newscast.
