Kim Kardashian reportedly held at gunpoint in Paris

Kanye West abruptly stopped his headlining set at the Meadows Music Festival on Sunday night — telling the crowd, “I’m sorry, I have a family emergency” before walking off the stage.
“I have to stop the show,” the rapper can be heard saying in a video posted to Twitter, as festival-goers collectively gasp and curse.

A report later emerged saying that his wife, Kim Kardashian, had been robbed in Paris.
“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers,” reported CNN editor Joe Sutton, attributing the information to a West spokesperson. “She is badly shaken but physically unharmed.”
Kanye’s on-stage announcement came about 10 minutes before his set at Flushing Meadows Corona Park was scheduled to end and mid-way through his performance of “Heartless.”

Kanye was quickly taken aside by a staffer before walking off the stage. Social media users said he had started the show about 30 minutes late.
“This is SO Kanye,” a person in the crowd shouts, as others yell out in disgust.
“What happened to Kim?!” another says.
The buxom beauty had been hanging out in Paris with other members of the Kardashian clan for fashion week.

Fans tried their best to temper their annoyance.
“I’m a little pissed, but I understand if it’s his family,” said 21-year-old Jessica Mathias, who had traveled from Virginia to see the show. “I just really wanted to hear ‘Ultralight Beam’ with Chance the Rapper.”
Although the crowd filed out without incident, Kanye fans were ultimately left unsatisfied — especially since the Meadows’ set was intended as a make-up show after inclement weather forced the artist to cancel his Governors Ball appearance in June.
His early exit rounds off an unfortunate inaugural year for The Meadows Music & Arts Festival, held next to Citi Field.
Late last week, Saturday headliner the Weeknd cancelled his appearance due to a conflict with his performance on “Saturday Night Live.”
