UFC Star Miesha Tate, Bullied For Being 'Too Buff,' Rescued A 6-Year-Old Girl With A Broken Arm

We all judge celebrities on the their actions and appearances on the big and small screen. Subconsciously, we think their nature is similar to the roles they play. We also assume that wrestlers and professional fighters are tough on the outside but within too. It is widely believed that these formidable and intimidating people behave somewhat similar to how they are in a ring.

Miesha Tate is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Tate was the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion until UFC 200 on July 9, 2016. She lost the match to Amanda Nunes in her first title defense. This was her first loss in two and half year years. When she is not wrecking her opponents in the cage, she loves to loves to spend time outdoors and go hiking.

Most of the times the opportunity to do something good occurs in the most unexpected places. Miesha was having a good time on a mountain trail in Las Vegas when she found herself in the position to help someone in need. The mixed martial artist was hiking on the Mary Jane Falls trail when she came across Amber Ellis and her daughter Kai.

Amber and her family, residents of Lake Havasu City in Arizona, were walking along the trail about 40 miles northwest of Las Vegas during Labor Day weekend in September 2016. Kai was playing with her sister when she tripped over a rock and landed on her arm, severely injuring it. Her mother did her best to try to take her to safety. Then Miesha came across them and saw a "meekly built" woman carrying her daughter, who had a broken arm. Miesha offered them her help by proposing to carry Kai for the rest of the journey.
