Mark Clattenburg is expected to take charge of the FA Cup final next month.
The 41-year-old, who refereed Leicester’s 4-0 win over Swansea on Sunday, is thought to have already been earmarked to oversee the Wembley showpiece.

Manchester United face Crystal Palace on May 21 after beating Everton and Watford respectively over the weekend.

But he was entrusted with Leicester’s continued charge to the Premier League title after the fallout from their draw with West Ham.
Moss was heavily criticised for his performance after that and Clattenburg’s afternoon at the King Power Stadium passed without a hitch.

He is set for a summer in France alongside Martin Atkinson at Euro 2016 as scrutiny on officials becomes ever fiercer.
Clattenburg has not been immune to criticism himself this season after being forced to sever ties with a football agency just a fortnight after joining up with them.

Catalyst4Soccer were looking after his off-field affairs but concerns were raised given the amount of players, some in the Premier League, they also represent.
Clattenburg has dished out 132 yellow and six red cards so far this campaign and was the referee for last season’s UEFA Super Cup final.
